Anne Langley's Magical Boot
Anne Langley has a magic beautiful boot
And one day she had a beautiful dress
And asked her magical boot
Did you make this pretty dress?
The magical boot said yes.
Moonlight from an Iceberg
Moonlight is so pretty
Like a sun
Horses like the moonlight
And everywhere the horses go
The moonlight follows them
The sun rose from the roses
And the stars the rain
Moonlight
Horse Graze
Horses love the sunshine
But its time to go to bed
But it's not you
It starts to rain but you don't mind
And then the sun comes up
And is can play again
Horses from the Moonlight
Horses no longer want to live
But is are gonna stay awhile
Yes indeed
People like horses
Is sometimes ride them like the sunlight
The moon comes up
Its time to sleep
And is fall asleep til morning
Beauty Princess
Princesses shine in the morning sun like everyone else
But their pretty jewels is no longer want
But they want to marry
And have a good long life
And every night when you see a gloss
Of every color of your eye you'll see
The lovely princess pretty princess
Pretty Pretty Princess
Pretty princess in the crown light
And a lot of sunshine like glitter and gold
The sun rises like the moon shines pretty
And every day the princess goes out
And picks daisies and flowers a lot
And then you know that everywhere
And princess knows where to go

Bulls game
We went to L's friend Alex B's 4th birthday party at a restaurant across the street from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and after pizza and cake we walked to the ballpark to take in an afternoon game in the cheap "seats" on the outfield lawn. The clouds were looking ominous but the rain stayed away, and despite a particularly grumpy usher ("Don't lean over the fence! Don't throw that ball! Don't roll down the hill!") we settled in for an enjoyable game. The Bulls' centerfielder threw a ball to Alex after a pre-inning warmup throw-around, and L was wondering if someone would throw one to her. After the seventh inning stretch, Wool E. Bull drove around the field in his mini-car, tossing out Bulls paraphernalia to the crowd, and we went down to the outfield fence to wave to get his attention. It worked, and Lucie as well (good catch, dad) got a ball to take home. It was really nice to be able to walk from our house to the stadium--one of the many reasons we like our neighborhood so.

"Why can't we sit in those chairs?"

"My legs itch."

Ring pop!
